Ghanaian icon Shatta Wale has officially announced of his upcoming album titled ” African King”. Shatta Wale’s “African King” album is an upcoming release.It has not yet been released. He made the announcement of the album on April 3, 2025. The album is expected to be released in 2025, but the exact date is not yet known. Prior to the album,Shatta Wale has also released a number of singles in 2025, including “So Real, So Me,” “Amakor,” “Ajey” and many more.
Rumours and some sources states that,Shatta Wale’s upcoming African King album was inspired by Apple Music. It states that some few months ago, Apple Music created a category or a genre for African Dancehall and added most of Shatta Wale’s songs under that category or genre.To which shatta wale is the one in charge of African Dancehall.So week’s after that,then Shatta Wale came out to announce the release of the album.
